This series is called "LOLlol". Image pairs are of the same piece. The first image is not illuminated from behind and the second one is lit from behind. These were made 2017. They were done in response to the 2016 election. We laugh sometimes when we are out of sorts but that outburst of laughter is closer to crying than to laughing at comedy.
